Being the oldest of 6 children, Roshima cared for her younger siblings to help her mother work and take care of the family. Roshima did not get much education about finances and credit in her home. She went to college and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Finance, all with Student loans. When she was in her first year of college, she got a $200 credit card and maxed it out she never paid it. She did not know about the effects of not paying for her debt. She tried to buy a house and could not due to the many mistakes she made, just like that credit card and student loans. She made many mistakes, such as hot checks, car repossession, bankruptcy, and a plethora of charge-offs. She could not get anything on credit. So she decided to fix her credit and fix her life.
